Artist Shows a Blender Setup That Looks Like a Photo
tzbtzb showcased a texturing study and showed the WIP images.
3D Artist tzbtzb impressed the audience by showcasing this image, which looks like a casual snap, while in fact it is an impressively lifelike Blender setup.
According to the artist, the render was a texturing practice. Apart from realistic textures of the interior pieces, there are lifelike wear and tear and peeled paint, skillfully visualized by the creator.
tzbtzb shared that they added a slight camera animation with a bit of motion blur to achieve the effect of the photographer slightly moving while taking the photo, along with a grain effect. Such imperfections, together with compression artifacts, help achieve an effect of a real-life photo rather than a 3D render.
