DemNikoArt continues working on his new robotic 3D character.
3D Artist and the creator of the MAVERICKS series Nikodem "DemNikoArt" Bredlich, who impressed us with a remarkable mechanical leg rig last month, continues working on his new robotic character project, presenting one more 3D part created for the WIP model.
This time, the creator unveiled an intricate beetle-like wing structure set up for the character's back, featuring dozens of moving parts and thrusters hidden underneath the metallic wings, which took him nearly a week to complete.
Much like the previously mentioned mechanical leg, the new robotic part was rigged in Blender, with the author emphasizing the use of the "elastic" interpolation method to set up the rebound movement on the resting keyframes. The "greebles and mechanical parts", the artist mentioned, come from Ian Hubert and JROTools.
