The project is created by Moises Gomes, Nicolás Taró, Leandro Coelho, and Lucas Magalhães.
Senior 3D Artist Moises Gomes has presented a stunning recreation of Tlaloc, the Aztec God of rain, water, lightning and agriculture. The model was made using ZBrush, Houdini, Substance 3D Painter, and Nuke. The project was created in collaboration with Nicolás Taró, Leandro Coelho, and Lucas Magalhães who helped in the production of the animation and rig of this project.
"Tlaloc is an important Aztec God, he has the power to control the rains and storms. Aztec people believed that Tlaloc was responsible for the production of food and the prosperity of their civilization. He is often portrayed with lightning and thunder, and is considered a powerful and feared god," shared the creator.
The project was inspired by Gianluca Rolli's concept art. You can find more beautiful works on Gomes's website and ArtStation page.
