Baldur's Gate 3 Is Most User-Loved PC Game on Metacritic
Critics appreciate it, too.
Baldur's Gate 3 keeps attracting positive attention. The RPG from Larian Studios is the best PC game of all time on Metacritic based on user reviews. Players awarded it 9.3 points out of 10, so it proudly stands before a trio of Half-Life games, Warcraft III, and Counter-Strike, followed by its predecessor – Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
Critics also appreciated Baldur's Gate 3, putting it in second place among PC games by giving it a Metascore of 97 – the same as Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, which crowns the list. Baldur's Gate 3 is still fresh, so it has a chance to take first place soon.
Among the games on all platforms, it stands 15th, based on its Metascore, which is still crazy impressive considering there is only a PC version available for now. The 9.3 user score makes it number 23 on the list of highest-rated games filtered by all platforms.
Such popularity is amazing but not entirely surprising. After all, Baldur's Gate 3 saw over 800,000 concurrent players when it came out. So the promo campaign by Larian was a success, especially the bear scene, which haunts not only the developers but the studio head's son.
And the game promises to get even better, with Larian already releasing hotfixes. The latest one gives gnome sorcerers underwear and hides some sensitive body parts. Speaking of underwear, you should probably check your companions' pants while you're at it, you might find something interesting.
