It's been three months since the release of Blender 4.5, and the Blender Foundation continues to work steadily on updates for this final LTS release in the 4.x series, which will be supported until July 2027. Blender 4.5.4 LTS fixes 63 issues since version 4.5.3, focusing on multiple crash fixes.
Blender 4.2 LTS is the first long-term support release in the 4.x series, which will be supported until July 2026. The latest update, version 4.2.15 LTS, fixes 13 issues since 4.2.14. It's strongly advised to keep your LTS version up to date, since these releases include only bug fixes. If you still encounter bugs, please report them to ensure they're resolved in the next update.
