Buckshot Roulette Creator Becomes Godot's Platinum Sponsor
Mike Klubnika has joined one of the highest tiers.
We've recently seen a wave of high-profile support for open-source projects: Blender secured backing from Netflix and Arrowhead Game Studios, the studio behind Helldivers 2. Now, it's Godot Engine making headlines as well.
The Godot team announced that Mike Klubnika, creator of Buckshot Roulette and s.p.l.i.t., has stepped in as a major financial supporter of the open-source game engine. According to Godot's corporate sponsorship page, Corporate Platinum sponsors contribute €36,000 per year in funding.
With Klubnika now joining at that level, the current list of Corporate Platinum sponsors also includes W4 Games, V-Sekai, and JetBrains.
