Check out a second trailer for Astartes II, an upcoming Warhammer 40,000 animated mini-series, shared by Games Workshop. The new trailer features Deathwatch and Terminators and, as anticipated, Space Marines combating the foes of the Imperium of Man, with distinct Space Hulk vibes.

The sequel will be produced in collaboration with Syama Pedersen, who worked on the first Astartes as a solo creator. The original mini-series included five animations totaling 13 minutes. 

The first teaser trailer for Astartes II was released in January 2025. At the time, the release date was anticipated for this fall, and it wasn't far from the truth – Astartes II will be released in December on Warhammer TV, and fans will be able to watch it with the Warhammer+ subscription.

Syama Pedersen's work on the Astartes project became a source of inspiration for the 40K Inquisition Hallway project by Material Artist Ben Close. There is a brief shot of Space Marines walking down a hallway, and those visuals stuck with me," the artist shared in our interview covering the creative process.
