The studio has released its financial results for the first half of 2025.
Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher creator CD Projekt released its financial results for the first half of 2025, highlighting major sales milestones for its key titles and sharing that it has expanded the teams working on their sequels.
According to the report, the studio's sales revenue reached 443 million PLN, which equals almost $122 million. Almost 60% of this came from Cyberpunk 2077, while around 15% was earned due to The Witcher series. Net profit amounts to nearly 155 million PLN, which is about $42 million. Compared to the previous period, sales revenue rose by roughly 4.3%, while net profit declined by nearly 9.7%.
The studio's top-performing title and main contributor to the sales is Cyberpunk 2077, together with its expansion, Phantom Liberty. In the first half of the year, sales of the DLC exceeded 10 million copies. Also, 75% of Cyberpunk 2077 copies sold for Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2025 are physical editions of the game. As for The Witcher 3, it exceeded 60 million copies sold.

The studio extended its teams that work on the sequels to their games – The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2, going from 422 to 444 developers on the next The Witcher installment, and 96 to 116 workers creating the sequel to Cyberpunk. Recently, CD PROJEKT RED announced that Cyberpunk 2 completed its conceptual phase and entered the pre-production stage.
