DeveloperDob, a solo developer with around 20 years of experience, shared a clip to showcase the big arm mode from their upcoming title, Electro Bop Boxing League.
As you can see, two giant robots are on a boxing stage, trying to use their giant long arms to hit the opponent down. Other than using arms, there are fire flame lasers shooting out onto the opponent's face. With the audience being normal-sized human beings, it's easy to tell the scale of the robots is huge.
Following the Steam link of this Unity project, we have a chance to further check out this auto battler with an Atompunk / Electro Swing theme and a unique 2D hand-painted art style.
The game takes place in a stadium called Emprum Stadium, which is like a diamond in the sky and is the home of the Electro Bop boxing league. "Pick your nation and outfit your boxer with a variety of different robot parts, punch card abilities and league belts to assemble a fighter to your liking that excels in speed, strength, endurance or a balanced mix coupled with special properties on each part."

Your robot will fight automatically with the crew piloting and executing basic attacks on the backside, but you've got things to do to help it achieve better results - that's how the rhythm part of the gameplay works. "Loading and activating abilities will be up to you by completing light rhythm tapping challenges synced with music beats."
Similar to real-world boxing events, if your robot gets hit badly, you can quickly repair it between round breaks; and crew members who were dazed from battles can recover. Other than the big arm mode showcased, the game also offers a career mode through which you can gain resources to unlock new parts, abilities for your robots, and passive crew skills.
Electro Bop Boxing League is set to be coming soon on Steam. Before heading there to add it to your wishlist, take a look at the recently shared footage by the developer on X/Twitter:
