Check Out Gaku Tada's New Watercolor-Style 3D Project
Set up in Blender with the help of Gaku's own Deep Paint add-on.
Gaku Tada, a brilliant Visual Artist whose incredible 3D artworks that look like real-life hand paintings have impressed the 80 Level team on numerous occasions, continues the series by unveiling a new project.
Evoking the look of a fantasy book illustration magically brought to life, the artwork depicts a girl and a fox in the middle of the forest, with the project boasting Gaku's signature watercolor style and including an array of small details that can captivate you for minutes on end.
As always, the creator employed Blender to set up the scene, along with Deep Paint, Gaku's own plug-in that expands the capabilities of Blender's Grease Pencil and introduces useful tools for turning Grease Pencil strokes into 3D meshes, custom GP and texture paint brushes, material presets, and much more.
