Check Out How This Cyberpunk 3D Setup Looks Behind the Scenes
Deepak Kushwaha shared an insightful look at the work with lighting tests and analogue sketches.
Take a look at this eye-catching 3D scene and its WIPs unveiled by Digital and Technical Artist Deepak Kushwaha. The scene was made using Blender, and the artist shared some thoughts on the tools used by 3D artists and improvisation as an art skill.
The scene depicts the artist's dream sci-fi lab, created in a vibrant painterly style reminiscent of Arcane. The artist did several lighting tests, choosing from a combination of neon cyberpunk light shades.
Kushwaha also reflected on the tools behind the work, noting that they rely on a basic setup: a 4GB RAM office laptop. Rather than seeing this as a limitation, the artist described it as something that pushed them to adapt and get creative with what was already available, and called improvisation a useful skill in art and other spheres.
