Damjan Minovski unveiled a new function of the WIP tool.
3D Artist Damjan Minovski showcased a new feature of OmniEdge, a WIP Blender add-on that allows the creation of stylized line drawings and performs real-time calculations entirely within the material using displacement.
With the Helper function, the tool can compute intersection curves via BVH trees, enabling fast performance, about 3 seconds for 1M triangles, on static geometry. Dotted lines feature adaptive texture scaling for consistent detail, and all edges maintain constant screen-space width using GPU displacement shaders.
