See How Stylized Line Art Blender Add-on OmniEdge Works with Reflections

Damjan Minovski knows what he's doing.

Damjan Minovski has recently showcased OmniEdge, a Blender add-on for stylized line drawing, which could potentially replace Grease Pencil for some users. If you were worried it wouldn't look good with water, pay attention: the creator demonstrated that the lines and colors are reflected just fine at 60 FPS.

Minovski tested the add-on on Ian Hubert's Blender 2.8 splash scene, and the color nuances look great not only on simple shapes but also on complex objects like the man and the dog.

When asked about animated objects, Minovski said that the update time is "basically zero" if they are moved or rotated. "Deforming the mesh is another story - the whole boat has 280,000 triangles and updates at 6 FPS here on my MacBook M1 Max (Lattice modifier above OmniEdge)."

Minovski is also the creator of the OmniStep controller add-on. You can find his projects and follow OmniEdge's development on X/Twitter.
