3D Artist RwanLink celebrated the start of the new year with this fantastic 3D recreation of Link from the original 1986 The Legend of Zelda. The artist conveyed the retro-inspired feel, crafting a recognizable and memorable image of the character, while evoking nostalgia through the artwork's 90s anime aesthetic.
RwanLink creates a lot of stunning art inspired by The Legend of Zelda, including short UE5 films. Before, the artist shared a teaser for a film reimagining of Gerudo's Fortress from Ocarina of Time, a short film, titled Zelda: Twilight Princess, recreating the game's key event, and a 3D environment combining Zelda with Studio Ghibli's art style:
