3D Artist RwanLink has celebrated Ocarina of Time's 25th birthday with an incredible 3D environment set up in Unreal Engine 5.
RwanLink, a renowned 3D Generalist and Filmmaker known to many for their amazing Zelda-inspired artworks, has recently celebrated the 25th birthday of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with a new spectacular project.
Paying tribute to the legendary game, the artist fused Zelda with Studio Ghibli's art style, presenting a stylized take on Ocarina of Time's Castle Town. According to the author, it required over 600 hours spanning four months to create the environments and the characters for this project. As usual, the creator utilized the power of Unreal Engine 5 to set up the location.
"Having previously focused on creating realistic environments, I decided to venture into something different this time," commented RwanLink. "As a passionate admirer of Studio Ghibli films, I drew inspiration from their aesthetic and seamlessly incorporated it into the world of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, paying homage to the game's 25th anniversary. I would love to hear your thoughts on the project and whether you'd be interested in seeing more videos in this particular art style."
Earlier, RwanLink also demonstrated 3D recreations of Kokiri Forest, Kakariko Village, Lake Hylia, and many other locations from Zelda games. You can check out all of them by visiting the artist's YouTube page.
