Check Out Super-Realistic Car Drifting Animation by Max Panysh

Made in Blender in just 4 days.

Today, let's revisit the amazing portfolio of Max Panysh, a renowned 3D Automotive Artist known to many for his highly-realistic digital cars, and explore one of his most recent works that takes photorealism to the next level.

Made in collaboration with 3D Modeler Squiff, the animation in question depicts two BMWs drifting on a racing track, showcasing graphics, lighting, and smoke effects so lifelike that even those who aren't really into cars can almost smell the burning tires from behind the screen. According to the project description, the sequence was created using Blender in just four days, with Squiff responsible for the cars and Max handling the custom-made CG track environment, textures, lighting, simulations, and animations.
