Check Out The First Trailer Of An Upcoming First-Person Horror Fishing Game
Out Fishing is being created using Unity URP by solo developer Mūn Mūn Games.
Solo game developer Mūn Mūn Games has released the very first trailer for their WIP first-person horror fishing game created using Unity URP, which is titled Out Fishing.
The first half of the trailer showcased the cozy fishing experiences at an abandoned lake, haunted by memories of a forgotten disappearance. It was a place you would have loved to visit as a child, with pine trees and still water carved in your memory.
Cast your fishing rod, wait for a bite, then quickly reel it in or use a net to catch even more fish with precision. Sell your fish for money, upgrade the gear, and build up your camp, which is "a fragile safe zone where the line between memory and hallucination begins to blur." The weather will change and create different fishing conditions, exploration, and threats.
Besides fishing, you'll also be tasked with searching for rare fish and scattered remnants of the past that will help you figure out what happened.
The peace of fishing fades away as the second half of the trailer shows a completely opposite scene at night. After the sunset and the moon rises, the area is filled with an eerie and unsettling atmosphere. "Cryptic encounters and unsettling discoveries" might relate to the psychological dread from classic horror games like Alan Wake, Mundaun, or Silent Hill.

The world in the game is beautiful yet haunting and there are various clues to be discovered, including items, voices, and strange visions.
