Check Out This Cool Parkour Game Set in a Dystopian Rocky City
The brutalist architecture and ambient music create a fascinating aesthetic.
Have a look at this eye-catching parkour gameplay clip and catch a glimpse of VHOLUME, an upcoming 3D platformer from developers Nathan Grange, Léonard Lemaitre, and Niels Tiercelin.
The creators crafted an amazing representative of the genre, but the remarkable detail is that the atmospheric setting with brutalist rocky and concrete architecture, sometimes even reminiscent of a medieval city with its narrow streets, gothic arches, and rocky walls covered with moss. The architecture, together with ambient music and deserted streets, creates a melancholic mood.
Gameplay focuses on movement, and players can jump, run, climb, and slide with extended freedom, while environments challenge both agility and creativity.
