Check Out This Cool VHS-Like Effect Made in Blender

Triqlide Studios brings back the retro days.

Triqlide Studios presented a fun effect that makes any scene look like an image from a VHS tape. This is not a recording but a Blender project done almost entirely in the compositor.

The creator explained that the materials were comprised entirely of emissive shaders to add to the retro look.

"It's not perfect, I couldn't really work out the true physical properties of the vertical scanlines, but this is about the extent of my knowledge when it comes to Blender. If you guys have anything else I could add, or maybe you think something is off, do let me know and I'll see what I can do."
