3D Artist and the creator of the MAVERICKS series Nikodem Bredlich, known as DemNikoArt online, has recently unveiled a remarkable mechanical leg rig designed for one of his upcoming projects. Set up in Blender, the rig boasts highly realistic and detailed hydraulic pistons, as well as a spring that can stretch and compress in a lifelike manner. According to the author, the rig is based on Ian Hubert's tutorials and a technique showcased by YouTuber A Schellekens in one of their guides.
"These are the graphs for the IK controller at the bottom. It's just simple elastic keyframes placed at specific spots," commented the creator:
