Check Out This Surreal Game Where You Explore Dreamscapes

MROI_ is an immersive experience set in a world of fragmented dreams.

Check out this peculiar game set in an odd world of dreams and illusions with glitched, VHS-like visuals. MROI_ is a walking simulator developed by a team of two creators – Dosogy and SaintPesticide.

MROI_ is a game about a loop where you wake up and go back to sleep again. However, the solitude of your dreams has been disrupted by an unknown guest, leading you to uncover the life you once lived beyond your dreams and the life your visitor used to lead. Overall, there are around 32 dreams to explore.

"People see me as a miserable thing, stuck in the world of my own creation. I pity them. I am granted freedom. I am blessed to create and to see what depths of my subconscious have to offer, I am not bound to the physical. I do not care for your world, you have nothing of use."

The game is powered by the Godot engine, and gameplay is available with first and third-person camera views. Developer Dosogy was responsible for visual assets, story and dialogue writing, along with a contribution to the music and sound design, and character and environment design, while Developer SaintPesticide was in charge of coding, most of the music and sound design, and general help in various other fields of development.
