RPG Paper Maker, a game-making engine created by a solo dev Wano, received a major update. The newly released 3.0 version includes renewed UI, browser compatibility, and "new small extra features." The 3.0 version is compatible with 2.0.11 projects.

RPG Paper Maker is a software that allows you to create a 3D RPG game with many 2D sprites and 3D objects using a simple interface for Windows, Linux, and MacOS. With the software, you can create a game even if you don't have any knowledge of programming and 3D modeling. If you are an experienced creator, you will also find the project interesting, as the engine lets you create or modify JavaScript plugins and import your own 3D models in .obj format.

RPG Paper Maker is primarily aimed at creating JRPGs, but you can also create action RPGs, tactical RPGs, and more. The software also includes retro-inspired graphic assets, which you can use in your game.

The software is free for non-commercial use. The use in commercial projects requires a license, and you can purchase the commercial edition for $79.99.
