Until Dawn 2, a horror experience from developers Firesprite and AdHoc Studio and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment, has received a release date and a new pre-order trailer.

The sequel will launch on PlayStation 5 on January 28, 2027. Pre-orders for the Standard or Digital Deluxe Editions start September 10 to unlock exclusive Dr. Hill-themed content: Until Dawn classic outfit, Akishima Island holiday outfit, and Dr. Hill collector's bobbleheads to discover in-game.

The publisher has also revealed the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the Y2K Neon Vibes Pack, dressing the main characters in vibrant neon costumes, along with the Diorama of Death, letting players revisit each character's gruesome death through vignettes that dig into the details of how it happened.

AdHoc Studio, creators of Dispatch, bring their unique style to the game, so we can expect a "deeply layered story packed with rich characters, razor-sharp dialogue, fraught relationships, [and] tough decisions," says Stu Tilley, Creative Director at Firesprite Games. "Every choice, every interaction can ripple with dramatic consequences."

The cast features an impressive lineup of acclaimed actors: Sarah Catherine Hook, known for The White Lotus and Cruel Intentions; Gia Kim, renowned for XO, Kitty; Stranger Things star Dacre Montgomery; Spence Moore II, known for Brilliant Minds, All American, and A.P. Bio; and Camila Senna, known for Música and Rooming with Danger.

In the new pre-order trailer, the Dead True crew investigates Blackwood Sanitorium, shooting an episode about the tragic events that unfolded 12 years ago. One of the characters, Izzy, portrayed by Sarah Catherine Hook, makes a chilling discovery that changes the group's plans. Guided by Youna, a survivor of a supernatural attack, played by Gia Kim, the group goes to a remote South Pacific island abandoned since a luxury resort’s mysterious shutdown in the '70s. Players' choices shape the narrative and trigger lasting consequences.
