CodeMiko Brings Real Chair into Her Virtual World with New Motion Capture

This prop test means she can "teleport" any object.

Youna Kang, better known as VTuber CodeMiko, never stops perfecting her motion capture art, coming up with new ideas all the time. Now, she tested her new mocap by 3D-scanning a chair into the digital world.

She can touch and move the chair in any way, and the interactions look incredibly solid, without any awkward clashing or hands floating just above the pieces. Kang says she can bring any item into her virtual domain, and this could mean another level in VTuring and VR in general.

Another fantastic feat not many VTubers can compete with is CodeMiko's stunning hair simulation, which looks and behaves like real hair in Unreal Engine. You can find this and some other experiments on her X/Twitter.
