Realistic Clothing & Fur Physics Set Up in UE5 For a VTuber Avatar

Youna Kang, an Unreal Developer and the mastermind behind the virtual streamer CodeMiko, continues to demonstrate the future of VTubers with an incredible new experiment.

In a recent demo shared on CodeMiko's Twitter, the developer showcased some impressive clothing and fur physics set up for the VTuber's avatar in Unreal Engine 5, the engine CodeMiko is powered by. Besides UE5, Youna also utilized Xsens Awinda, a wireless mocap system, to track her motions in real-time and use them to animate the avatar.
