Cool Dinosaur in Real-Time Waterfall Simulation

A look at JangaFX's LiquiGen capabilities.

EmberGen developer JangaFX has recently released its long-awaited powerful fluid simulation software LiquiGen in alpha, and we can already see some stunning results from those lucky enough to have tried it.

For example, take a look at this awesome dinosaur having a shower in a waterfall created by the VFX online training center Nyjo FX. The simulation and meshing are shown in real time on NVIDIA's RTX 3090 GPU. The water looks extremely realistic and smooth, but we expected no less from JangaFX.

"We've just prepared a simple small scale waterfall setup with LiquiGen using a dinosaur animation we'll use in our Primal Predator Masterclass to see how to manage water dynamic and meshing in realtime. Still a lot of missing features but it seems great how it works," said Nyjo FX.

If you want a longer look at the tool from the team, check out this first impressions video:

LiquiGen was announced in 2020, and the team behind it has been spoiling us with fantastic demos all this time. Here are a couple of them:

When the tool is finally out, you will be able to buy it separately or use it as a part of the JangaFX Suite license at no extra cost.
