Custom First-Person Turn In Place Prone System In Unreal Engine 5

For this movement, HalcyonDaysDev started with a free prone idle animation, which he duplicated and manually adjusted with hand-keyed edits to match the correct direction.
As he explained, his primary inspirations for the project obviously include Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell, games that offer rich sandbox interactions. He also draws from elements of Far Cry and aims to capture the gunplay of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Ultimately, his goal is to develop a robust combat system while still allowing players the option to engage in a more passive, exploratory experience.
