Custom Fluid Solver Set Up in Blender 3.6 With Simulation Nodes

Mārtiņš Upītis showcased one more impressive experiment with Blender's upcoming LTS version.

Tech Artist and the Co-Founder of Physical Addons Mārtiņš Upītis, who earlier showcased a great water ripples simulation, impresses us for the second time this week with one more outstanding setup. This time, the creator presented a custom-made fluid solver with texture advection, created using Blender 3.6 and its Simulation Nodes, which allows the author to simulate lifelike flowing water. According to the artist, the setup is based on the technique demonstrated in Wyatt Flanders' MeAndMyNeighborhood article.

We highly encourage you to visit Mārtiņš' Twitter page to check out more experiments with Simulation Nodes. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
