Cyberpunk 2077 showed better sales results than The Witcher 3 over a similar post-release period.
Reviewing CD Projekt Red's financial results, the studio's CFO Piotr Nielubowicz shared that Cyberpunk 2077 sold over 35 million copies, which is a better result than The Witcher 3 achieved in the same timeframe after its release. The sci-fi RPG became the main source of income for CD Projekt Red.
The studio's consolidated revenue in Q3 reached almost 350 million PLN, more than half the amount of the same period last year. The increase is driven by organic sales of Cyberpunk 2077, its addition to the PlayStation Plus service, and revenue from the Nintendo Switch 2 release.

Also, the developer extended its teams that work on the sequels to their games – The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2.
