Dark Sadness: Awesome Submission for ArtWar 2

Olya Anufrieva created an outstanding character and shared the production progress online.

If you haven’t been following, there’s a very interesting contest, organized by Cubebrush. A lot of artists take part in this project, but we don’t hear about their work often enough. Today we’d like to correct ourselves and show you the amazing character design by Olya Anufrieva.

Olya is an artist from Voronezh (Russia). Her Artstation page mostly features female characters. Her website also features a lot of beautiful ‘making of’ videos, which can help you learn more about character design.

Her newest real-time character Dark Sadness was actually rendered in Toolbag. The details here are absolutely staggering. We especially like the facial features, the astonishing armor and beautiful skin material. Looks absolutely gorgeous.
