Dark Souls-Inspired Environment Made in Unreal Engine 5

Check out the Dark Souls-inspired Dark Bridge location made with Megascans assets and UE5.

Senior Lighting Artist at Treyarch Pasquale Scionti has created a new environment, inspired by Dark Souls, using Megascans, SpeedTree, and Unreal Engine 5. The bridge itself was created entirely with Megascans assets and foliage. Trees were made using SpeedTree HDR Lighting with Volumetric Fog and Directional Light. Background castles are from Kitbash 3D Dark Fantasy Pack. The door and interior are from Unreal Engine Marketplace.

Recently, Pasquale Scionti discussed the usage of Megascans and Unreal Engine 5 to create environment art. The artist shared the general workflow, and told some interesting tips and tricks on lighting. You can check out our interview with Scionti here.

You can visit the artist's ArtStation page or Instagram to check out more fantastic UE-made environments. Also, don't forget to join our new Reddit pageour new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
