The title managed to hit this mark just eight weeks after its launch.
The mobile version of Diablo Immortal has generated over $100 million in global spending, Sensor Tower reports. The game reached this mark just eight weeks after its launch, becoming one of the fastest mobile titles to hit this milestone.
For comparison, it took about ten weeks for Fire Emblem Heroes to reach the same landmark, twelve weeks for the mobile version of Fortnite, and 22 weeks for Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire. The only title that managed to generate $100 in less than eight weeks is Pokémon Go which reached this milestone about two weeks after its launch.
Diablo Immortal ranks 13th among mobile games in terms of revenue since release. Most earnings generated by the game come from the USA followed by South Korea and Japan.
On Monday, the title also launched in China where during the first two days after the release, it became the most downloaded app across all categories on the Apple App Store. The title also ranked as the No. 3 top-grossing game on the marketplace on its launch day, and as No.2 on the next day after release surpassing such popular games in the country as Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile.
Last week, Blizzard also revealed that the number of Diablo Immortal downloads surpassed 20 million.
