After the wild success of Baldur's Gate 3, many players decided to try Divinity: Original Sin 2, but not everyone could enjoy its Definitive Edition because it was released for PC, Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. While PS5 has backward compatibility, it didn't work well with the game, so current-gen console owners were out of luck.
But the day has come: Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to PEGI, which has rated these versions.
PEGI revealed the rating and release dates of the game for current consoles on its website, setting the launch date to November 6.
The previous DE versions were released in 2018, so Larian Studios sure took its time, but I'm sure those who liked BG3 will enjoy Divinity: OS 2 as well (and maybe even more.)
