Its art style remains iconic.
Don't Starve Together is a multiplayer open-world survival game that is highly recognized for its art style, which is compared to Tim Burton's, and for its survival setting and mechanics.
Thanks to the fact that right now the game is available for less than $2, the concurrent player count peak on Steam is 122,662, according to SteamDB, which is a huge accomplishment considering that in 2023 its highest peak was around 100,000.
Don't Starve Together came out in 2016, and it's a standalone expansion of the game Don't Starve, which came out in 2013, and it has other expansions.
Right now, Klei Entertainment is working on a new title for the franchise. Don't Starve Elsewhere doesn't have a release date yet, but it will also be a multiplayer survival and exploration experience.
