Dynamic 3D Skirt Rig Made For a VTuber Model in Blender

The skirt is set up to follow the movements of the character's legs.

3D Artist and VTuber Modeler Kanata Cream continues working on their brand-new character model, presenting a dynamic mermaid skirt rig prepared for Amai Origami-sama. As showcased in Kanata's latest demo, the skirt is set up to naturally follow the character's leg movements, with the hem gently swaying from side to side, in line with the artist's vision of the character being able to dance. Much like the rest of the model, the rig was created using Blender, a free and open-source 3D software and Kanata's go-to tool.
