Shahzod Boyhonov's AutoBlend is live.
We recently covered Shahzod Boyhonov's exploration of screen-space mesh blending in Blender 4.5, which has apparently become a trend alongside Tore Lervik's MeshBlend tool and János Turánszki's Wicked Engine feature, and now, the Blender add-on that lets you achieve the same thing is officially available.
AutoBlend functions as a post-processing effect, completely independent of scene complexity and material types. It allows you to blend any number of objects and materials, except for transparent materials, with ease. It's compatible with both Eevee and Cycles, but viewport preview is supported only in Eevee.
For a more natural and organic blending, you can use noise, Voronoi, or other custom masks.
Please make sure you are using Blender 4.5 or a newer version, and feel free to reach out to Shahzod for any questions. We also recommend checking out his other tools, like the Cell Fluids add-on.
