Remote work is extra challenging when you don't have hands. Or arms. Or legs. Well, at least you have several hearts to handle the stress of making important decisions in Worming from Home, a funny game by Zach Northrop and Mason Sabharwal.

"Be the Worm of Wall Street in this silly simulation game about working a remote finance job. Throw your spineless body around the keyboard to invest in the stock market and earn obscene amounts of money. Buy upgrades, train skills, and worm your way up to the promotion you've always dreamed of!"

The world is ginormous when you're a small worm, but the game's ragdoll system and physics will help you get from your keyboard to the coffee machine. "Your endless yearning for worm immersion will finally be satisfied," the developers promise.

Your job as a financial analyst is to respond to messages, invest money in stocks, and "type random numbers into a spreadsheet to make it look like the company is doing very well."

When you're done working, explore the environment, play with oversized objects, or message your partner.

Of course, no self-respecting title about a slithering creature can do without the classic game of Snake. After all, a worm should look up to someone when trying to build some muscle at the gym.

You can also "read esoteric finance books to unlock new perks and ascend to the next level of pretending to know what you're doing." Sounds just like real life.

Worming from Home will be out in Q3 2026, and for now, you can enjoy its demo on Steam.
