Flexible New 3D Facial Anatomy Tool For Character Artists Coming Soon

Ige Olwen has announced Portrait Studio Pro, the latest addition to the HAELE 3D product line. It's a MetaHuman-based facial anatomy reference tool designed for artists of all skill levels, offering customizable characters, proportions, expressions, lighting, and environments. Portrait Studio Pro offers a practical, easy-to-use way to study faces and heads and build a stronger understanding of facial anatomy.

Users can switch between simplified, realistic, and anatomical models, and choose from more than 50 editable scenes and 30 characters. The app includes face planes, skull and facial muscle models, and individual facial parts. You can also choose from over 90 facial expressions, adjust eye direction, and change head and neck poses.

Other options include facial guidelines, wireframe mode, customizable skin tones, materials, shading, and makeup, along with different hair, beard, mustache, and eyebrow styles. Lighting is fully adjustable, and users can freely move the camera 360 degrees, change the field of view, add an overlay grid, view scenes in VR, and save or load their work.
