Floating Cherry Blossom Petals Created With Unity

The project was made by Masataka Hakozaki.

Game Developer Masataka Hakozaki, widely known for producing complex real-time goldfish simulations and creating useful tools for setting up digital water, has celebrated this year's cherry blossom blooming season with a couple of mesmerizing new demos. This time, the creator awed us by setting up realistic and deformable cherry blossom flowers and petals and putting them into a previously-shown digital aquarium for the fish to play around and interact with. Much like the author's earlier simulations, this one works in real-time and was created with Unity.

Last month, to celebrate Valentine's Day, the developer also showcased a similar-looking project, but with roses instead of cherry blossoms:

You can check out more of Masataka's gorgeous simulations here and try out the developer's Goldfish app over here.
