Follow Giant Bird in Cart Across SideFX Labs' New Stylized Gold Mine Environment

SideFX Labs has released The HexMine, a fantastic stylized gold mine environment full of Western vibes. The map was created using the Labs Hexagon Grid, a tool that generates a point grid for instantiating modules and assets.

"The point cloud is then exported from Houdini and imported into Unreal Engine using the PCG workflow. This setup allows for rapid iteration, procedural control, and consistent layout generation throughout the entire map. Project files are available for download in the content library," shared the company.

The ride around the scene is made even more exciting with the overgrown bird in the cart wearing a hat.
