Just a few days ago, we talked about Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a former CD Projekt Red veteran who worked on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 games, who joined Rebel Wolves as Creative Director.
If you haven't yet heard about Rebel Wolves, it's a studio founded by other former CD Projekt Red developers and led by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz.
Yesterday, the studio took to Twitter to "comment on rumors". The name of the dark fantasy RPG, which will be built on Unreal Engine 5, is called Dawnwalker. There's not much information about the upcoming project but, as we reported back in 2022, Dawnwalker is written by Jakub Szamałek, Rebel Wolves' Co-Founder and Narrative Director, who also contributed to The Witcher 3. Also, the game is being developed for both PCs and next-generation consoles.
Rebel Wolves shared the artwork for Dawnwalker, releasing the image in various formats for use as wallpaper on PCs or smartphones. The team also mentioned that "the game logo is still a placeholder" and is far from the final version.
Adding to that, Twitter user Kurakasis, who was the first to disclose the name of the RPG, discovered that the project will not include microtransactions or platform-exclusive content and that a team of 100 developers is currently working on it. However, this information hasn't been confirmed.
