Fortiche to Share a Making-Of Look at Arcane TV Series During Annecy Festival

Fortiche Production, a French animation studio known throughout the world for its work on the acclaimed Arcane TV series, has shared some exciting news for the show's fans ahead of the upcoming Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2024.

According to Fortiche's latest tweet, the studio will be teaming up with Riot Games on June 12 to discuss the production of Arcane and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the beloved series. While specific details about the upcoming presentation remain under wraps, it's highly likely that whatever Fortiche and Riot have in store will be just as educational, if not more so, than their 2022 five-part documentary, Arcane: Bridging the Rift.

Rumor has it that the studio also plans to announce "a new adult animated project unrelated to Riot" a day prior, on June 11, during the Fortiche Studio Focus presentation, a speculation that can neither be confirmed nor denied at this point.

Previously, Fortiche also shared the release window for Arcane Season 2, assuring fans that the story will continue in November 2024. Following that, the team unveiled the first teaser trailer for the second season, featuring Singed and a blood transfusion operation. From what's shown, it appears that the upcoming season will be even darker than the first, a sentiment echoed by Jinx voice actress Ella Purnell, who described the sequel as "devastating, and nobody will feel good after watching it."
