Free Blender Tool For Dolly Zoom Camera Effect
Control camera movement and focal length with just a single slider.
Dolly Zoom
Created by Surf-Ace, this simple Blender extension brings the dolly zoom effect, also known as the Hitchcock, Vertigo, or Jaws effect, to both the 3D viewport and cameras.
The Dolly Zoom property adjusts the focal length while moving the viewport or camera forward or backward along the viewing Z-axis. This keeps objects around the 3D cursor at the same apparent size, making it easier to fine-tune your framing and composition. To animate the effect, you'll need to keyframe the focal length and camera position separately, though, as the Dolly Zoom property itself cannot be keyframed.
The extension is available for Blender 4.2 LTS and newer.
