Free Cloth Simulation Add-on for Blender

Daniel Bystedt shared a great new tool and a tutorial for it.

Artist Daniel Bystedt, known for his Blender add-ons, has released a new tool that will help you simulate cloth, be it a napkin, curtains, or clothing.

As the creator said on Twitter, cloth can be simulated and manipulated during the simulation with this tool. It also comes with some cloth assets so you can start experimenting right away.

To start, you might want to check out the tutorial Bystedt provided, where he shows all the capabilities of the add-on and the possible results you can get.

If you find it helpful, you should definitely get Bystedt’s Blender Baker – another free plug-in that will help you save time on baking PBR texture maps and lighting in Blender. There is also an awesome procedural tool for creating 3D spaceship concepts in just one click.

We once talked with Bystedt about his character production process, you can read about it here, you might learn something new from his tips and tricks.

Get Bystedt's Cloth Builder from Gumroad and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on ThreadsInstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
