Frozen Sea Waves Recreated as a Substance 3D Designer Material

Take a look at a mesmerizing work by Juan Carlos Nuño.

3D Artist Juan Carlos Nuño impressed the audience with this fascinating material depicting freezing waves of the Baltic Sea, based on a video from Photographer Jan Erik Waider.

The artist shared that visualizing the way ice reacts to water was a fun and creative challenge to complete. The 3D setup was made entirely within Substance 3D Designer, without SSS or Emissive, only using a base color.
