Full Version of Sandbox Detective Simulation Game Arrives in Sept

"Experience a new Kidnapping case, new killer interactions, optimizations and other brand new features."

The developer of Shadows of Doubt has announced that this noir stealth game will soon leave the early access period and be fully launched on September 26 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

We first covered this open-world detective game, created by indie developer Cole Jefferies, back in 2022, and its 25-minute gameplay footage impressed us with its procedurally-generated sandbox environment and fully simulated sci-fi noir city. “Think like a private investigator and take on jobs to earn cash on your path to catching a serial killer. If you don’t catch them - they will kill again.” The game description reads, which gives us a hint about the major job to do in the game. You can learn more about the game’s features from our previous report

After three years of development, the game was launched in early access last April and has won a “very positive” review on Steam, with 91% of all reviewers loving it. The latest release date trailer gives us a fresh look at its gameplay:

It’s currently priced at $19.99 on Steam and will be priced at $24.99 for the final launch. If you’d like to be a detective as smart as Sherlock Holmes and explore this sci-fi noir city, feel free to check it out right now.
