Game Developer Turned Fake Mobile Game Ad Into Real Game

You can play it on your phone.

We've all seen them, those flashy mobile game ads filled with wild action sequences or puzzle-solving. The scenarios are often so exaggerated that they're ridiculous. But when you finally download the game out of curiosity, there's none of that excitement or clever gameplay. These ads are part of the strange economics of mobile gaming, and while they're understandably frustrating, Vincent Ferront set out to create a mobile game that actually matches the kind of ads we're used to seeing.

In Z-Road: Zombie Survival, you drive through zombie-filled roads, smashing through nonstop hordes just to make it out alive. Upgrade your car, flatten zombies, and try to survive the chaos.

It's available on iOS and Android. The game doesn't really look like what you see in the first part of the video, though... wait, are they using fake advertising?
