Get Chased by Police in This GTA-Inspired Top-Down Indie Game

Your chance to appear in the news.

If you love watching aerial footage of police chasing criminals, you might want to keep an eye on this Unreal Engine-made indie game by Mehrab Behzad and Calum Ronney.

It is what it sounds like: drive a car trying to get away from police vehicles and make sure not to catch fire – literally and otherwise. The game, whose name hasn't been revealed yet, was inspired by GTA games as well as Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

"I was binge watching news chases when the idea started to form, but many years of playing GTA wasn't futile, either," shared Behzad.

For now, you can enjoy levels brought by Google Earth, but the developers promise to show a more fleshed-out version with more impact and details in the future if the posts attract enough attention, so be sure to support them on X/Twitter if you'd like to play this top-down racer.
