Glaciered: an Upcoming Adventure Game Where You Play as an Evolved Bird

Survive under the glacier-covered seas 65 million years in the future.

Check out Glaciered – an upcoming action-adventure game that takes place on a glacier-covered Earth 65 million years in the future after the “Everwinter” has transformed the planet’s surface into a sheet of ice.

You play as a Tuai, descended from birds and successors of the dinosaurs, trying to survive in the frozen world.

Glaciered features real-time combat that combines melee and ranged attacks with special abilities available for the character due to its avian and dinosaur bloodlines. You can combine different abilities and passive skills, like high-speed swimming that creates tunnels of supercritical water, temporal crystal blades, and more.

"Discover unique ecosystems spread across an ocean Earth 65 million years in the future. Visit grasslands growing from icy skies, swim past schools of thermophilic fish coating the seafloor, and fend off members of the Crocodilia family that have been freed from gravity's grip and grown to enormous size."

The game will be available on PC and support NVIDIA RTX features, including 4K resolution, ray tracing, and DLSS.

Snowblind is a one-person indie game studio founded by Kei Shibuya, a video game creator who has worked on “Project Nimbus: Complete Edition” and “Sumire” as a producer, programmer, technical artist, VFX artist, and UX artist.

You can find out more about Glaciered on its website or Steam.
