Graveyard Keeper 2, a sequel to the eerie pixel-style sandbox from developer Lazy Bear Games and publisher tinyBuild, has been released this month, and it has reached over 54,000 concurrent players on Steam.

In this game, you play as the Grand Inquisitor, and besides being in charge of the graveyard, you have to restore the town, lead your undead army into battle, and turn the zombie outbreak to your advantage.

You also have to collect flora, fauna, and human remains to build machinery, towers, and fortifications to save the Kingdom from a zombie apocalypse.

The game is described as an unhinged, "inaccurate medieval cemetery sim" that gives players grotesque characters and a twisted story.

On a Steam blog, developers explained that Graveyard Keeper 2 shows a larger world in comparison to the first game. They also mentioned that it features a new story that can be played by people who haven't experienced the original game, but it also has elements that will make fans happy.

The game was also released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch.
